I saw this ring, and despite its lack of real diamonds, I dug it, and still do (cause I’m not fake; see how I did that?!). It’s a simple message on a sterling silver diamond-shaped design to make that dramatic statement ring loudly (forgive the pun; it’s Monday after all!).

So in a nutshell, this loudmouth piece of jewelry is awesome. And for all the single ladies (all the single ladies!) out there, it’ll give the guy(s) you’re scoping a straightforward message right up front. Yes sir, that’s right. See? Look at my finger. Not fake. Well, maybe it won’t go exactly like that. . .but at least it’s a conversation starter?

Jess Wainer’s carved chrysanthemum vases are absolutely divine. They’re whimsical and modern all at the same time; one of the best combinations for home accessories. Not too grandma, and not too cold. . . as Goldilocks would say, just the right size, or I mean style.

Montreal based jewelry designer Missy Industry creates strong, pretty pieces that emanate serenity and polish. The  clean lines are stunning and the toughness of the metal gives each accessory that unexpected edge. I especially like the juxtaposition of the dainty bow and the industrial metal chains. Too cool.

Who doesn’t love a few fancy feathers and frills here and there? Okay, I admit, there are probably a lot of people who could go without them, but not me! I love the simplicity and elegance of a beautiful feather, especially when it’s blended with pretty beads and gems, like the handmade pieces from Montreal’s Noémiah.

And for the frills, Glasgow’s own Emma Henderson of Showpony has oodles of screen printed totes and clutches that are too cute (and frilly!) to pass up. Plus, they’re fair-trade products and made from unbleached, all natural cotton whenever possible. I’ll give a woot woot for that!

So, it’s Friday and the first day of spring, can it get any better than that? Well, perhaps. . . especially if I could get my hands on all the sping inspired creations below. I love this time of year and all the wonderful colors and designs it inspires. Everything is sunny and warm, and I wish it could stay like that forever.

It’s no secret around here that I love Brit Rock (a lot), and with that comes a love for anything inspired by the prim and proper monarchs. Perhaps it’s the approach, even in the music, that takes me in. Got a chance to check out Supermarket today (run there people, RUN!) and came across this funky bread ring from Melanie Favreau. Not only do they keep your loaves of bread fresh and yummy, the design looks super cool on your hand too. And I mean really, why not? I like it.
