My friends over at Ript Apparel are celebrating their very first birthday today. Congratulations fellas on a job well done! “My Love, My Way” designed by Dennis Wedding

The 100th t-shirt entitled “My Love, My Way” was designed by Nintendo loving artist Dennis Wedding of Bochum, Germany. Dennis says since he spends most of his time designing and not gaming now, he decided to draw what inspires him most instead — classic video games. Very nerdy, but very cool. I also asked what tunes get his creativity humming. . . turns out he’s listening to a lot of Wavves, Japandroids, Teenage Cool Kids, Good Luck and Jeniferever at the moment. I like it!

And based on RIPT Apparel’s mini tee preview above, Dennis’ shirt will definitely start flying off the virtual shelves come midnight. Remember, this tee will only be available for 24 hours and then off it’s little soul goes to the RIPT Graveyard. Ript Apparel out of Chicago just launched last week and trust me, it’s an AWESOME new t-shirt design business created by Paul Friemel (an old buddy of mine – way to go Paul!). And believe me when I say his approach to t-shirts is awesome. Every day there’s a new, dope design from a talented contributing artist for only 10 bucks. 10 bucks!!
