I don’t know about you, but I can’t stop listening to Regina Spektor’s latest album Far. For whatever reason, be it her enchanting lyrics, distinctive voice or her pretty way around the piano, it lures me in every time. So today I’d like to share my top songs off the album in video form. . . one is a live performance while the others are a very eclectic set of short films, and they’re all fabulous ditties in my humble opinion. Oh, and you may have already noticed, but one of these tracks made it’s way onto Brönette’s birthday mixtape too, so if you haven’t already e-mailed me for one, do it now! You (and I) will be so happy you did!
“Folding Chair”
(With one of the best lyrics in a long time. . . ‘my eyelashes catch my sweat’. . .)
“Eet”
(I wish my typewriter squeaked out music notes too!)
“Dance Anthem of the 80s”
“Man of a Thousand Faces”
