my invisible friends
When I saw Corey McNally’s work, creator of My Invisible Friends, I fell in love with robots all over again. His bots are so adorable and sweet, I couldn’t help but buy a few of his items on the spot. I mean really, how can you not love these lil’ guys and gals?!
A Twin Cities artist, Corey’s work will be on display at SpotArt Gallery in NE Minneapolis until July 20th. Be sure to stop by opening night this Friday, June 19th from 7pm-10pm. . . not only will there be Corey’s lovely work to admire (so worth a visit!), but live music by bluesy Lonesome Dan Kase and much more.
Here’s the piece I purchased which is happily placed on the wall in my hallway. . .
And had I seen this cute, droopey eyed owl or these dreamy bots when I bought the robot couple, I’d probably have these on my desk right now too.
You can see all of his work online here – his talent goes far beyond robots and definitely worth a look!
